Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, B12 injections, INR testing, ECG's and new patient checks. They may also act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Community Midwives

All ante natal services are provided at our Bishops Road Surgery and run by the community midwives by appointment only. Please telephone our receptionists for a convenient appointment. Bishops Road Ante-Natal Clinic Hours: Monday afternoons 1pm to 4pm.

Health Visitors

Our health visitors are available to give advice on the health and welfare of under 5's and are based at Rhiwbina clinic and can be reached on Cardiff 02921 841 582.
